She joined the 99s North Central Section in ’71 and became a charter member of the Dunes chapter of the 99s in 1976. Diana enjoys working with children: she assists Girl Scouts with obtaining their Aerospace Badge and participates in school Career Days. Margaret Wint

Margaret Wint

Secretary

Margaret was lucky enough to grow up with an airport in her backyard, and flew in a small aircraft for the first time in 2001. She has been flying for about 12 years now and works at Ionia County Airport as an assistant manager and a test proctor. She has her Private license and Instrument rating, and co-owns a Cessna 177B named Redbird. Margaret and Janice Welsh participated in the Air Race Classic in 2012, and have flown to several section meetings together.
In her free time, Margaret enjoys sewing and cross-stitch. She has been married for 37 years and has two kids and one grandkid, and flies Redbird out to see them in New Jersey and Texas. Margaret’s favorite ride at the county fair is the carousel.
